On June 26th, 2023, the acceptance of new applications for 050 plus will be closing.

050 plus is an IP phone application for smartphones that allows users to make calls at affordable rates. It provides a special phone number starting with 050, enabling calls to mobiles and landlines. Users can easily make call backs by accessing the smartphone's incoming and outgoing call history through the application.

• Calls to landlines: 8.8 yen/3 mins
• Calls to mobiles: 17.6 yen/min
• Calls to other 050 plus users: Free! (Calls to other affiliated 050IP numbers are also free)

There is a monthly subscription fee of 330 yen (first month and second month are free). Please note that customers are responsible for covering packet data transmission fees that arise from calls or receipt of emails. We recommend using a capped packet data plan.

About Registration

• Customers need to sign up to use 050 plus and enter into a contract, which requires payment by credit card.
• 050 plus can be used on handsets and terminals listed as compatible by NTT Communications. Refer to our website for a list of compatible devices at https://support.ocn.ne.jp/050plus/compatibleApparatus.

• IP phone function (both make and receive calls) using an 050 phone number
• Display of mobile phone (smartphone) call history
• Voicemail (up to 20 messages of 90 seconds or less can be stored for 168 hours). Voice messages can be sent as email attachments in WAV format.
• Cost-saving display*
• Contacts list grouping function
• Function to display the 050 phone number of the free-call recipient
• Mute, speaker, and hold functions
